6:31 AM
It's early.. yes I realize this. At 5:00 AM, the alarm rang out and I curled into the fetal position counting the rings on my phone. One, Two, Three, Four........twenty eight, twenty nine, THIRTY!!! Damn, that's a lot of rings. Good thing cause I'd probably fall back asleep otherwise. I purposely put the phone across the room, so I couldn't just shut it off. I took Monica to the airport, as she heads to her hometown of Gray, Maine. And as a person who usually sleeps til' at least 8 AM(Which I think is early)it's unbelievable to see how incredibly busy life is at this time of day. Traffic is beginning to build, there are the early morning joggers, walkers, and this is everyday life for so many. And to be honest, once you get up it's kind of nice to get an early start on the day. I feel relaxed knowing I have a head start.

I slept a little bit less than 6 hours. That's plenty right? I'm pretty sure the body only needs 5 hours per night. Perhaps a short 30 minute nap during the day and you're ready to go. This should be part of my daily routine. Maybe I'll start today. Years ago a roomate of mine was going to the culinary academy in San Francisco. That might be the name of the school, but he was also working full time, so that left very little time to sleep in his schedule. He was averaging 4 hours a night, but he survived doing this for a year. Out of comraderie, I tried waking up with him and keeping on his schedule cause that's what I do for fun, and wow... The mind really starts to fail. Your body still goes, but your mind is like DOO DOO DOO... Anyways, I've got too much work that I've been putting off. My fingers are crossed for a productive day. HAPPY THOUGHTS!!
Peace,
Mike Park
