Back home in sweet, sweet Northern California. More specifically downstairs at my moms house. A smooth flight brough me home safely at 11:30 AM and after a nice nap, I'm up and at em'. I don't feel crazed busy, so that's a good thing. I think I have a good grasp on what's needed to get done in the next few days, so I feel pretty darn relaxed. My album comes out next week. I'm pretty excited about that. I hope it does well, but if it doesn't...OH WELL.. I'll live. My last day in Chicago was pretty uneventful, but still great. I hung out with Alithea in the morning and we talked about SKA and the different bands she likes. She seems to have a pretty open mind on all the different styles, though she didn't like the Blue Meanies, so she lost points there. She then dropped me off at my friend Eriks house and we just hung out for a few hours until we eventually left to go see MYSTIC RIVER. Great movie up til' the last 15 minutes. I'm still confused about the ending. I'm not sure what the moral of the story is?? I need to see it again, but I wouldn't pay again. Luckily I can go to movies for free here in the bay area. So I'll check it out for sure. I woke at 5:30 AM and left for the airport. Good times CHicago. But I was ready to get home. I'm gonna try to catch up with a friend tonight, but first I need to friggin practice my guitar. Be safe y'all.

Peace always, mike park
