I'm trying something new today. I'm riding up front in the bus as to give me some perspective on reality. I'd become content with sitting upstairs in the lounge watching movies. Did I mention this bus is two stories and has 14 beds on it. Well, I've decided to sit up here to give myself a break from the lack of space on the bus and to actually see where the heck we were traveling too. You tend to forget that we are even driving once you recline on the 2nd floor lounge.

Today was Glasgow. I was supposed to meet up with the young lad who put on my show the last time I was in Scotland, but it didn't work out. But I did see him at the show and that was nice. He's a funny guy. He knows I can't understand what he's saying half the time and then he slows down for me. Glasgow is a pretty city. I got a chance to do some walking and just marvel at the architecture. The shopping district went on for blocks that consisted of vintage buildings with much character. DAMN!! I didn't have my camera. I realize I really enjoy walking on my own. People watching, breathing in the smells, and just enjoying the experience. My mind races wondering what these people do for work, what they like to do for fun, what they think of Americans, and all sorts of silly thoughts.

There were a bunch of street performers about and that's always nice to see. There was also a flea market near the club. I bought some thick socks for bargain prices. The show tonight was in a 1,800 person venue. Totally sold out and again I feel so lucky being here. I've noticed a lot of the same people coming to multiple shows. I wonder what they think when i play the exact same songs ever show. DOH!!! Why don't I mix it up?? I don't know?? I should. There seemed to be a lot of people there to see me and I got a good response, but there were definitely a few people who didn't want to see me as I got some stuff thrown at me including a cup of water. That's the first time that's happened to me on this tour. DOH!! It's fun!! But I still sold 53 cd's!!

Well, we're off to Nottingham, we will be there in 6 hours. FUN FUN

MY MEALS YESTERDAY:
BREAKFAST:MISSED IT
LUNCH:VEGETABLE SOUP, BREAD/CHEESES, SHEPHERDS PIE
DINNER:ROAST LAMB, SALADS, LENTIL SOUP, AND A VANILLA MOUSSE DESSERT.

Mike Park
