I'm in Glasgow, Scotland. The weather is cold and dreary. Almost movie-esque in terms of setting. When you think Scotland on a dark winter day, well that's what it feels like. Or do you think Scotland??? I have no idea what I'm saying. My head is a bit fuzzy right now. Yesterday was off and we spent it right outside of Newcastle. I woke up at 11 AM and just sat there for a bit. Mesmerized by the fact that I had my own hotel room. In normal situations I would bypass any luxury and sleep on the floor, but I thought to myself "COME ON!! STOP BEING SO CHEAP!!". We were getting an incredible deal at a nice hotel(MARRIOT) and I just went for it. And I'm glad I did.

There was a gym at the hotel, but most importantly a sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and cold plunge.. You see, you would go in any of the hot rooms until you were boiling and then go into this freezing water. I liked it, but now I feel a bit under the weather. Perhaps not the best idea eh?? I headed into town with Brad who does guitar tech. for the trio. We bought tickets for the 5 PM Harry Potter. After 30 minutes of previews and commercials the movie finally started. To be honest, I was falling asleep. I don't know if it was jet-lag still??? Or perhaps the movie sucked. NO!! It can't be that. I'll give it another try when I get back to the states.

Back to the hotel, we were leaving at 2 AM, so I just took off all my clothes, cranked the heat up to high and sat there watching the television and drinking water. Sound crazy?? Well, ya know...

I need to do some interviews now and then hopefully get a chance to walk around.

MY MEALS YESTERDAY:
BREAKFAST:NONE
LUNCH:CURRY, CAESER SALAD, CHIPS
DINNER:POP CORN and CANDY
LATE NIGHT:COOKIES, FROSTED FLAKES, and a BANANA

Peace,
Mike Park
