We are 2.5 hours into this 10.5 hour journey. Somehow I was able to fall asleep before we even took off and then for the next hour I dazed in and out of consciousness. Perhaps even longer, which seems insane as I rarely sleep on planes. The only reason I woke up for good was because the food cart came through and I didn't want to miss out. My choices were MEAT OR PASTA. I chose the pasta. The meat looked like grade school cafeteria style salisbury steak. My pasta was some kind of cheese ravioli, though the pasta was shaped in a bow form instead of the accustomed square.

My complimentary headphones are on listening to the airline selected music which is currently the Black Eyed Peas. Sounds like they spent a lot of money recording. I'd say it's safe to say they spent more on one song than I have spent in my entire career of making records. Hmmm... Let me think about it.. I have recorded 11 records either solo or with a band. Let's make a high estimate and say I spent $5,000 on each record. That would be $55,000 total. Oh yeah.. My guess is that the Black Eyed Peas spent that amount on their catering. Why so cynical?? I don't know. I just am. The music doesn't sound real to me. It sounds like it was recorded by robots. Run through the computer giving it a sound that has no flaws. But nobody is perfect. Well, I am pretty close, but yup...

And yes this airline(UNITED) has individual tv monitors. My movie choices are:
H.This last one I have no idea, but they spoke with an accent and yup..

Unfortunately I slept through the beg.. of the movies so I couldn't really get into anything. FANTASTIC FOUR is one of the worst movies ever made. If it wasn't for the eye candy of Jessica Alba the movie would have completely flopped. Damn.. I am waiting patientyly as all the TV screens are blue meaning that there is an intermission between movies. Once they start up again I'm going to watch the ISLAND with the wonderful Scarlett Johanson. In my heart I believe we would be friends if we met. Sure, you're thinking it's not gonna happen. But remember I did travel 3,000 miles looking for the girl who played SPIKE on Degrassi Jr. High and found her. And she even came to California to visit me so never say never.

Oh the movies are about to start. I'll check back later in the flight. Peace.....

5:46 PM
The Island just ended about 20 minutes ago. Damn, that's a long movie. I had no idea what it was about, but I liked it. Scarlett Johanson......uhuhuhuhuhuhuh....shivers.. The flight crew just came by with baskets of snacks. I helped myself to some brie, trail mix, and a twix bar. Pretty healthy right? Well, we're a little bit more than half way there. It's probably around 1 AM in England. Not quite sure how my body will hold up once I get there. If I can get a nap in before the show I'll be ok. Perhaps I'll check back later. By the way, I have my shoes and socks off. Is that polite??
