ATTN:
Hey Hey...I'm playing a show on October 20th at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles on October 20th with Kevin Seconds. Would anybody be willing to make some flyers and post them around the Los Angeles area? If you can help out I'll give you a copy of my new record for free and some other neat stuff.

Secondly, to my brothers and sisters over in the UK. I'm looking for a huge favor here. Would anybody be willing to pick me up at London Heathrow on either the 10th or 11th of November and drive me to some shows on Nov. 11th-Nov. 15th. If you can do this, I will give you so much free stuff, plus I will give you free tickets to any or all of the Alkaline Trio shows that I am doing. Of course I will pay for gas and will be your best friend. Let me know if this is something that someone would be willing to do. Just shooot me an email at mikeasianman@aol.com

It's Wednesday. Only 6 days of riding remain. We had about 12-15 people show up to our campfire show last night. The park ranger came and yelled at us. It wasn't fun for me. I hate conflict and knew we were going to get in trouble. It was past 10 PM and we were still making noise. I had to play bad guy and yell at everyone to shut up, but nobody listened. Perhaps I'm getting old. I don't know. I've lost control of the group. It's like Lord of the Flies here. I'm just going with the flow and hoping things work out for the best.

A little detour in the day has put me in my tent. Complete darkness surrounds me as I get ready for bed. Tomorrow is our longest ride. 105 miles. I really want to complete this ride. My goal is to get up at 6 AM and start riding by 7 AM. We'll see if I can pull it off. I'm determined to make it, but I've had to bail out early the last 4 days including today. The upside is that I lasted 40 miles today and my knee felt pretty good for the most part. Good night kind folks. SMILE BIG.
Peace,
Mike Park
