7:58 PM
We've hit the Pacific Ocean and we're all going crazy with excitement. Seriously. There's now 15 of us as Randy from Finch has joined us today. Three kids have found the camp ground and have been hanging out since 3 PM. Sam, one of the riders is playing guitar for them and I'm hiding in a tent. Actually nobody is here except three of us. Everyone went into town to eat food in a real restaurant. I opted for Ramen and instant mashed potatoes. Yummy..

We're a late group to get going. Though I wake everyone up at 6AM, we never get out until 7:40-8 AM. Geeeezz.. It drives me crazy because I have no patience. But nobody's perfect right? I've got to admit, this trip has been better than expected. To ride your bike along the ocean is like no other feeling. And though the ride can be tough, the reward of finishing for the day and just enjoying the camping experience is friggin awesome. I've realized I haven't done much camping in the last twenty years. I've probably camped more these last 4 days. But perhaps that'll change. I love just riding and thinking about everything. It's fun to look around and make up stories in your mind, wonder about it's past, etc. I like to think about the future, the past, what friends are doing, and stuff like that.

I've been the cook on this tour. I've made dinner everynight and breakfast every morning. Creative cooking with a kettle, rice cooker, and crock pot can be extremely challenging, but fun..nonetheless. I cut up three apples this morning, boiled them for 5 minutes and then added oatmeal and raisins. Delicious!! I think tomorrow night will be Ramen, mashed potatoes, and perhaps canned peaches for dinner. I have spaghetti, but I don't know how I'm gonna make enough for 15 people?? That is the crock pot is so small. I need to get a bigger one perhaps.

Jenny Choi is still kicking ass. She completed day two with no problem. Steve Choi seems to be done. His anke is hurting so bad. Poor guy. It sucks, because I love giving him a hard time, but I know he's already so upset, that I don't want to add to his frustration. I'm excited for each day. Especially now that we're on the coast. The scenery is breath taking. The weather? Unbelievable. We couldn't have a more picturesque day. The sunburns are turning up on all the riders. It's funny. I like to see the white man get red. My brown body just coats so perfectly though. Ahhhhhh... Well, that's it for today. Be well. Smile big.
