"The most anticipated release of the year"-Spin Magazine
Actually, I just made that up. But hopefully some of you are excited for the new record and will buy it next Tuesday when it comes out. My desire is to beg people to buy it, but I will just leave you with please please please go to your local record store and buy it next Tuesday. And spread the word. I'm not buying one ad for this release. I'm relying on word of mouth and hopefully that's good enough. THANK YOU!!!

8:49 AM
How did I gain one pound over the weekend? I rode over 60 miles the last two days? What the heck is going on???
Today, I woke up at 7 AM, stepped on the scale and went WHAT?? Interesting. Oh well. Back to my training. It took me about 5 minutes to get dressed and on my bike. My early morning ride wasn't as cold for some reason. The morning fog was swirling, but a stale warmness kept me from numbing in all my fingers.

Oh...Thanks to all of you who wrote me saying you'd help out with my website. I'm sure you all are amazing, but I found a great person named BLAKE from Boulder, Colorado who already updating the site with new pictures, so check it out!!

Friday night I went to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz to see their Friday night free concert series. MICKI DOLENZ from the Monkees was the artist. I love the MONKEES, but the show kind of sucked. He played all the hits, but not of the MONKEES. He played so many covers by other artists, but not his own. The only MONKEES songs he sang were:LAST TRAIN TO CLARKSVILLE, STEPPING STONE, PLEASANT VALLEY SUNDAY, MONKEES THEME SONG, and DAYDREAM BELIEVER. Oh well. He told some funny stories and made a lot of faces.

I took a 4 hour nap on Saturday. I definitely felt the day waste away. Finally getting up and trying to salvage my day, I only managed to wash the dishes. A friend had a birthday dinner later that night and we followed up with dancing. Though my knee is still messed up, once I hear that booming beat I can't help myself from dancing it up.

I'm still at home right now as news of an accident on HWY 17 have put things to a standstill. For those unfamiliar, HWY 17 is a windy 2 lane road that puts the residents of Santa Cruz over the hill and into the Silicon Valley. If an accident hits, you are screwed!! So instead of sitting in traffic, I'm sitting at home with a cup of tea and the music of Stevie Wonder keeping me warm inside. AHHHH.... Well, I'm gonna battle my email now. Be well. My best friend Monica is visiting her family in Maine for the next week and a half. I'll miss her dearly.
