It's officially over. No more living room shows... Nearly 50 shows, tons of new friends, thousands of miles, bbq's, and now it's over and time to get back to California and work.. ARgghhh!!! At least my job is pretty good. So I'm not that stressed out. I just enjoy traveling so much.

We beat traffic getting into Alexandria, Va.. A major bridge was going to be under construction and advice from our host Billy to leave early was taken. We ran into one stretch of traffic that took us 2.9 miles in 47 minutes. I was driving which made things worse. Pounding the steering wheel and a couple F bombs were shouted, but it would have been much worse if we hit the bridge traffic. We got in at around 2:30 PM. It gave us time to relax, play pool, watch tv and just veg out. It was the last night of tour and we were all a bit sad to see it end. Time flew by. It felt like we just started.

Billy's mom made a speech about plea for peace and people donated $123 to the foundation, I was floored by his mom...AMAZING!!

There was a girl who played solo right before me. When she finished her set she talked loudly through my first few songs and then left. I thought... "Wow.. That was so rude, I don't think I've ever experienced anything like that". These thoughts were going on in my head while playing a song and watching/hearing it unfold. That's cool. But it made me not want to play. I just kind of went through the motions and it was over.

An hour drive to Baltimore, MD and here I am in a HOLIDAY INN. Chris and Hiro will be getting up in 3 hours to start their long journey back home. Monica and I are on the 10:55 AM flight to San Jose. DOH!! Sorry Chris. Be well.
Peace, mike park
