We just left the chocolate capital of the friggin WORLD: Hershey, PA.. And I'm all chocolated out. Sitting in my stomach are a handful of hershey kisses, chocolate chip cookies, a candy bar, and chocolate cake.

My house show was at a young boy named Nate's home. He just graduated friggin 8th grade!!! Holy shmoly!! How did he even know who I was?? He worked at the amusement park and the next thing you know we're headed to the park for free. This made playing for his junior high buddies a distraction. I played horribly. Rushing everything and working towards one goal...... and that was to finish playing so we could get to the park. I don't think I stopped once. It was one long song. I managed to play 11 songs in 19 minutes and BAM!!! I was done and we were off to HERSHEY PARK.

A little bit of miscommunication put us in bathing suits and no shoes. We thought we were heading to the water park, but it was water rides only. And the next thing I know, we're in line with no shoes and Monica is wearing a bikini. DOH!! We felt naked.

The ride attendant said "It's ok this time, but you need shoes next time". ARGGHHH!!! We went to our locker and got our clothes back on and then went on a roller coaster buffet. Short lines made my impatient life a little more tolerable. Their new super coaster goes from 0 to 80 in 3.8 seconds and goes up and down an 80 degree angle that gives you a moment of clarity before your ultimate death, but fortunately we all live. FUN STUFF!! What a job to invent thrill rides.

After 5 hours, we headed back to Nate's home, where his mom made veggie chili and we all held hands saying grace over the fact that we needed some healthy food badly. A short walk to the neighboring blockbuster to rent a movie(which turned out to be spanglish) and then a relaxed night capped off another vacation filled day. This is my job????? This is what I do for a living??? Thank you god.
Peace always,
Mike Park
