We're on a quest to find a Chinese Buffet, but no luck so far. We're traveling north towards I-75. We'll be in Livonia, Michigan in about an hour. Another short drive day, which makes me happy.

Ada is a friggin small town. It's so small that we ran into our host(CASE) twice before even going to his house. Once on the main street and then again at the super market. We came into town and walked around, but we should have gone straight to Case's abode. He had a basketball hoop, swimming pool, and fruit salad.

Chris started a jump rope trend as Case and his girlfriend Sasha joined in on the aerobic fun. I just wanted to work up a sweat so I could jump in the pool. We practiced flips on the diving board. Both front and back flips were attempted, but failed badly by me. At least I tried eh??

My show was ok. Aside from Case and a few select others who traveled from Toledo and Eric, who came from Cleveland, I think a lot of people didn't know who I was and seemed bored whilst I played my guitar. I saw a lot of blank faces. Oh well. I still had fun.

At 8:30 I was done and we headed to the movies. There's one theater in town that plays two movies a night. It's only $3 and we went to see BATMAN for the third time on this tour. Built in 1938, it was a friggin cool experience. I was falling in love with ADA more and more.

Since the drive is short today we left late and I got to talk to Case's father whilst shooting baskets. He was a former secret service man during the Reagan era. Very interesting conversation. The house next to him was for sale $200,000. This house would be $1.5 Million in Santa Cruz. Ada...the new home for asian man records?? Probably not, but it's fun to play make believe.

We didn't want to leave. It was like being on vacation at the Garver residence. But all things must come to an end. Here comes the DETROIT area next. WOOHOO!!!
Peace, mike
