Another long drive. 6 hours to Chaska, MN.(Near Minneapolis) We're 140 miles away traveling on I-35 N listening to the POLYSICS. A common trend of eating for free at grocery stores continued today. SUPER TARGET!!! That is the place to go. They always have so many samples, it's just wonderful and warms the heart. And with the blistering temperatures, you can get a little excercise in the air conditioned atmosphere. I walk the aisles and head for sporting goods where I lift some weights and then off to the toy department to play with the talking dolls. Ya know what I'm talking about? Squeeze here and then they talk or something of the sort. It's fun.

Yesterday I went to an all you can eat BUFFET with about a group of 15 people. It wasn't even at a restaurant. It was at a HY VEE grocery store. And for some reason they were having a one day all you can eat spaghetti feast for $2.49. And to be honest, I don't even know if it was worth it. The spaghetti was more than bad. The noodles must have been cooking for days, as they were bloated and tasteless. The sauce had no kick and I was a sad man. i still managed three plates. DUH???

Lugging my sleepy frame out of the store and back to home base, we met up with our friend SUSAN to see BATMAN!! What can I say....?? The movie rocked. 2 hrs and 20 minutes of complete genius.

Hurry, hurry, hurry we needed to get over to the house show. Pete was the host. I had met him last year in St. Louis at one of my shows. Very nice guy. He lived in a beautiful home with his family. A hugeeeeee back yard which enabled us to play catch and throw the frisbee. A bbq was in motion, but I didn't eat because I have a problem with throwing up if I eat right before I play.... DOH!! Oh well. Fortunately no opening bands. Not that I don't like them, I just hate waiting to play. I like getting it over with and enjoying the rest of my time.

Fortunately there was still food afterwards. I ended up eating a few hot dogs and about 10 cookies. Not the healthiest of meals, but watcha gonna do?? And then finally back to our friend Clints house for some conversation, drinks, and relaxation.
