Just left Los Angeles Intl. Airport. I'm currently 10,000 ft. up as they just gave clearance to use any electronic devices and this here computer is one of those, so I thought I'd spend a couple minutes writing. What a crazed weekend. I feel like I've been through a month long tour in one weekend, but it was just six shows.

Show #4 was in Alta Loma. We played at a young mans house named Chris. He was a junior in high school and lived with his parents. His mom was Japanese, so I tried to impress her with my vocabulary. I don't think she was impressed though. Hmmmm.... The show was awkward. There were two girls, whom I know had zero idea who I was and looked as though they would be more comfortable at an Ashley Simpson concert, but since the shows are so intimate it made me feel awkward as they were literally four feet from me and I could see every movement. And then a guy with an ACDC shirt was just text messaging on his phone my entire set. Again, awkward... I wonder why they came? I would much rather play for a smaller crowd that cares than stragglers whom are uninterested. But it was still fun. Chris was a good kid and was a fan of GERRY LUNDQUIST of MU330 and therefore he is A OK!!

We had some time to kill before our next show, so we went to a movie called KICKING AND SCREAMING starring Will Ferrell. I love him... He makes me laugh. And though the movie wasn't a breakthrough in cinematic history, I was laughing and smiling. It was a good call by my friend Chris to go..

We headed a short distance to Fontana for our final show of the weekend. Upon arrival I met Andrew, the one who booked the show and said "How are you?" He looked concerned and said "Ummmmm.... Not so good?" "Why"? I asked... His reply, "There's nobody here, my friends flaked". Not exactly what I was hoping to hear, but as long as I was there and we had a camera to film the experience, I wanted to play. So, I played a short set to Andrew, his roomate and two friends. They did have food for us, so that was nice. And then I was done. We headed to my friend Chris' moms house and watched TEAM AMERICA whilst eating more food til' the late hours. And that's it.. My weekend was done. Every show was special in way or another. The experience is hard to describe. I can't wait to do the whole tour. FUN FUN
Peace,
Mike Park
