Here we go again.... Iím sitting on the second bench seat of the POOR BOY RECORDS van. Driven by a gentleman named JOHNNY HERO. I am renting the van and services for a meagher $20 a day. DOH!! Iím getting such a good deal. Weíre blasting Operation Ivy as TAKE WARNING just ended and is the reason for the first four words of this blog.

Traveling north on I-476 towards Syracuse, we have about 4 hours tilí we hit the northern part of New York.
Let me rewind back to yesterdays flight. I left you with the impression that everything was fine and dandy, but things got worse. I underestimated my sleep time. Iím thinking more like 30 minutes on the plane as we still had 3.5 hours to fly after thinking there was 2 hours left. A baby that was so good at the start of the flight lost his/her mind. Give credit to the parents as they tried everything to keep the baby happy.

But the shrieking cries raised the hair on the back of my neck. As soon as I started to dose off, the crying would start up again. Then my battery died on my computer, which left me with four forms of entertainment:
A.The inflight magazine
C.A womans fashion magazine
D.Getting up to go to the bathroom as much as possible

Well, of course I made it through. After grabbing my bags, I waited for Johnny to pick me up and we headed over to the HOLIDAY INN which I purchased on HOTWIRE for $58. There was absolutely nothing around this hotel except for other hotels and a DENNYíS. So, we went to Dennyís. We both got BOCA BURGERS. I ordered a salad about 5 minutes into my meal and she didnít charge me for it. She also had a button on that said ďIF I DONíT ASK YOU FOR AN APPETIZER YOUR MEAL IS FREE!Ē. She didnít ask, but I was too scared to tell her. She looked mean.

Johnny had a friend that worked at a movie theater 45 minutes away that was gonna hook us up with free movies, but I didnít want to drive that far, so I said ďLetís not goĒ.... I blew it. We got so bored here and then got hungry again and tried to find food, but couldnít find anything. It was crazy. We felt like we were in the twilight zone. The only option was Dennys. So we went again. The service was so slow this time around. It took an hour to finally get our food. I was getting antsy and angry. Why?? Why would I let something like slow service get me worked up? It made me more angry wondering why I was getting angry. Thatís when I knew it was time for bed. ZZZZZZZZZ.....
Peace, mike
