5:30 AM

It's now 5:30 AM. I woke at 5 AM to 3 mosquito bites on my face. 1 on my right eyebrow tip, 1 on my lower right jaw and 1 on my left cheek. Also 1 on my right upper buttocks. SUCKS!! Mosquitos seem to love me and I'm not in love with them. I swell up like a balloon for the first few hours and it's so itchy. Uggh!! I'm officially jet lagged. What I thought would be an amazing maneuver by me staying up until midnight and making my body sleep at a normal hour has turned into me losing more sleep and lying wide awake staring at a computer screen. It's pitch dark in my hotel room and Dan Potthast and Ted Moll are sleeping to the left of me. By the way I'm 16 hours ahead in Japan. So it's now 5:40 AM on Wednesday, where it's only 1:40 PM on Tuesday afternoon in California. I'm in a part of Tokyo called Shibuya. It's seriously like Disneyland 24 hours a day. The only place that can compare is New York City and even then it doesn't compare. The hustle and bustle of TOKYO is ridiculous. Everyone needs to experience it. The food is yummy, the people are nice, and the girls are cuter than you can ever imagine. Tonight we are playing our first show of the Japan tour
opening for the Suicide Machines. I'm excited to say the least. It's fun to see friends in a foreign country and I haven't seen the SM gang in a few years now. Well, I'm going to brush my teeth and go for a morning walk. Take care people and have a beautiful day.

Peace always, Mike Park
