Hmmmm.... Where am I? We just left Denver headed east towards Omaha. I think we're on the 76, headed to I-80 where we will traverse for the next 10 hours to our final destination. They have a TV in the van, so I tried watching RETURN OF THE KING, but I can't concentrate. So I decided to write a bit.

We stayed at a friend of Jenny's house last night. His name was Thomas. It always amazes me how someone can be so kind to complete strangers. He even offered his bed to me because of my bad back. It's times like these where I feel a sense of hope in man and inspiration is once again poured into my soul. There's more, he even had breakfast for us. Bananas and danishes, plus cereal. Friggin A!!! Thank you Thomas.

Last night, we finally arrived in Denver at around 5:40 PM. That's 8 hours and 40 minutes of total driving time last night. Argghhhh!!! That was a tough one for me. I was going stir crazy. At the 7 hour mark, I could only stare blankly at the mile markers and wonder aloud that I was out of my mind. Unfortunately I wasn't able to engage in any good conversations. I'm not sure why?? There was plenty going on in the van, but I just kind of did my own thing.

We played at a place called the Climax last night. It used to be called the Raven. I think I like that name better. 85 people came to the show. Not that many eh? But still a good time. I believe everyone who came had a great time and all the bands did extremely well. It was good to catch up with some old friends. FUN FUN

I'm looking up as the sun is shining with clouds taking about 40% of the sky. The road is clear, which is a much needed occurance. Snow is still present on the banks and hills, but it's mostly melted. It sure is fun to tour, but these drives kill me. I'd like to read, but I get dizzy in the van. And that can lead to vomiting. Nobody wants to see that. Do they? Ok, I'll write later in the drive. God knows I have time.
Peace, mike park
