ATTN:UK folks!! I'm coming to do a short DIY tour in the UK starting November 12th. I was just checking to see if there are people out there who would be willing to help spread the word about shows (Passing out flyers, posting stuff on the websites in England, etc.) Also, I have a few days off on Nov. 10th and 11th (MY BIRTHDAY) Any ideas of things to do? Would love to hang out with the locals. I'll be in the London area, so get in touch. mikeasianman@aol.com

Day 16 (since getting sick) and I'm so close to being myself again. I'd say I'm at 90%. These past few days I've been able to get on my bike again and enjoy the pleasures of San Jose. Being able to ride through the fallen leaves and to hear the crunching sounds is more fun than you can ever imagine.

I love fall weather. Being bundled up with a scarf and three layers of clothing makes me very happy. My addiction right now is bubble tea with tapioca. There seems to be an abundance of bubble tea cafes opening up around the downtown area. The more the merrier. In just the last week, I've almost filled out my free bubble tea card. Ya know what I'm talking about? They give you a card and they punch it each time you buy one and then the last one is free. Well, I've got one more to go and I've got a free one. I'll order the most expensive thing they've got.

My favorite is Mocha flavor. And I love stabbing the sealed plastic top with the jumbo straw. Stab/Stab/Stab/Stab!!! It's the most violent I get. Halloween is 5 days away and the election is 7 days away. Maybe I'll dress up as George Bush and Monica can be the first lady. That would be pretty good, though not so original.

Leonard Peltier is on the friggin' ballot for president of the united states. I didn't even know this. Miya just told me. He's running as the Peace and Freedom candidate. WOW!! Pretty cool. I'm in the dark on a lot of stuff. Miya listens to NPR 24/7 it seems. Where as I'm listening to comedy cds by Cedric the Entertainer and Bernie Mac. Who's learning more???

Tomorrow Good Charlotte and SUM 41 are playing at a 6,000 seat arena that is about 8 minutes walking distance from my place. My 11 year old niece is ga ga over Good Charlotte, so I am taking her. I try not to be one of those persons who are jaded against bands that are succesful, but ya know...I just don't get it??? But I'll keep a good smile on my face and make sure she doesn't get crushed in the pit. She's only 11 dammnit.

Peace always,
Mike Park
