There's not much to say when your days consists of popping advil and peeing from all the liquids you've drank. But nearly 9 hours of sleep for me last night has seemingly paid off as my fever has gone down and my throat is feeling a bit more like normal.

I even went to the Blind Center today to do some volunteer work. Mostly helping people fill out their absentee ballots for the upcoming election. A woman named Bianca had finally gotten her guide dog. I got to play with the dog. His name was Jordan and he was licker. I like dogs that lick. He licked my face and I smiled big.

Then she told me she was moving back to the Netherlands because she was getting a divorce. She said "My husband doesn't love me anymore". DOH!! What do you say to that? I just said "I'm sorry". And then played with her dog some more.

They had apple pie and I ate a piece, but wasn't in the mood for sweets, so I only ate 2 pieces. I talked to some other people at the center and then headed to work. That's where I am right now. So far I've accomplished nothing except playing two games of Spider Solitaire on the computer and checking my MYSPACE account. Yes, I'm a winner.

Tonight, I think I'll be able to go out and do something. The movies are a must tonight and some popcorn will be eaten as well. Congratulations to me for beating this cold/flu. It's time to work. I feel motivated again!

Peace always, Mike Park
