10:13 AM

After a restful nights sleep, I feel tons better. I'm finished with my recording and it sounds better than I could have ever imagined. Considering this was recorded in a garage with limited microphones and passing by traffic.

I met up with the band Colossal yesterday. They had a day off and stayed at my small apartment, so we were crammed in like sardines. Living in an attic apartment means high temperatures as there are only 2 windows and heat rises? I am the owner of 5 fans and they were all blowing on high.

We started BBQing at 4:20 PM at the Oakland A's game. And for a good 6 hours, we ate, played catch, listened to music, watched baseball, and drank beer. Unfortunately the A's lost big. Final score Texas 10 A's 3. That's the 3rd time the A's lost with me in attendance. I had gone a lifetime without seeing them lose in person, but now it's becoming a tradition. Yes, my frustration is at an all time high, but I'll persevere.

Two more days til' I leave for tour. Yikes! I still have lots to do. Today will definitely consist of work and work and work. I don't plan on leaving. I'm gonna sleep over at moms house and plow through this mountain of work.

I found a $5 bill this morning while walking towards my car. The realization that I've never found money is a minor miracle. Well, I think I've found a dollar before, but FIVE. Never such a large amount, so my day started out on the right path. I remember when I was 10, me and my friend Kennedy were skateboarding along and then we stopped to just relax and he found a friggin 100 dollar bill under my skateboard. I was pretty sad. Perhaps he would share the money with me?? NOPE. He went straight to the comic book store and I watched him buy X-MEN after X-MEN.

Well, I better get back to work. I might be getting free Japanese food at 1 PM. Wish me luck. I better call this guy named TYLER right now. Be well people and smile big.
Peace, mike

PS-I've been trying to come up with a contest for the punkvoter tour that I'm doing with Anti-Flag and this is what I've come up with. For each show, I'm going to give away 2 tickets to one person. All I ask in return is that you buy my record. It's pretty selfish on my part, but this way I'll be able to save you money on tickets(you'll save around $25) and I'll get to share my music. Already have my record? Well, give it to somebody as a gift. Sound fair? I hope so. Here's a list of all the dates for the tour:
