10:12 AM

I slept a long time this morning. My alarm first went off at 8:30 AM, then I reset for 9:00 AM, then again at 9:15 AM, and then finally for 9:30 AM. The last 15 minutes were spent lying awake thinking about a reality tv show where you had to spend your entire nights sleep waking up every fifteen minutes and resetting your alarm in fifteen minutes. I thought it was such a good idea. But maybe it was because I was still half asleep. Hmmm...

My mom wasn't selected for jury duty, so luckily for me I don't have to drive her and pick her up every day from the Hall of Justice. Last night, me and Monica rode bikes to the local taqueria, got veggie burritos, sodas and brought them to the movies. We watched the Ramones documentary END OF THE CENTURY. I give it a B. It was good just because I love the Ramones, but if you were to rate the movie from an outsiders perspective, perhaps it could be a bit boring.

There are coupons for free popcorn in this magazine called WAVE and they have it right in the lobby of the movie theater, so we just cut them out and got some free popcorn. By the way, I've totally lost my free movie connection at this theater. I bought a discount card though. You buy 10 movies and it costs $50. So $5 a movie. Not so bad.

After the Ramones flick, we wanted to see another movie, so we snuck into collateral which was on the 2nd floor. I don't know why, but we were both nervous and scared that we were going to get caught. This is very uncharacteristic of me. Why would they(the employees) care? They're getting paid miniumum wage. But the theater was so empty that I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb. We were fine. There ended up being about 13 people in the theater.

We ate our burritos and soda that we brought from home. We got a cup of ice from the concessions earlier. They are nice to help us aren't they. Well, better get back to doing some kind of work. Wish me luck as my laziness is on high right now.
Peace,
Mike Park

PS-I've been trying to come up with a contest for the punkvoter tour that I'm doing with Anti-Flag and this is what I've come up with. For each show I'm going to give away 2 tickets to one person. All I ask in return is that you buy my record. It's pretty selfish on my part, but this way I'll be able to save you money on tickets(you'll save around $25) and I'll get to share my music. Already have my record? Well, give it to somebody as a gift. Sound fair? I hope so. Here's a list of all the dates for the tour:
