9:48 AM

Not a lot of sleep last night. Got home late from seeing a band called Satori play. It featured members of RX Bandits. They played Reggae and Rocksteady. It was quite good, but it ran late. Getting back home at nearly 1:30AM can be tiresome. There was some difficulty getting to sleep once I got home and then I got the munchies and ate some cookies and cereal at around 2:00 AM. That's not so good for you either.

Yesterday, my mom was called in for jury duty screening. At 12 noon I drove her down to the hall of justice in San Jose and then went back to work. I had no idea when she was getting out so I just awaited her call. 5:15 PM and she was done, so I raced back to get her trying to avoid as much traffic as possible. Smooth sailing getting there, but I could see the traffic mounting up heading back south towards home.

And after about 7 minutes of driving off the freeway I was too late. We hit the stop sign on the freeway onramp and it was bumper to bumper all the way home. Oh, the pain of traffic. It took about 30 minutes to get home, which I guess wasn't too bad. Mom said she wasn't even questioned yet for jury duty and needs to return today at 10:30 AM for more waiting around. She said she even fell asleep and the police officer on hand had to wake her up. Yikes....

My sister is taking her today, but I need to pick her up later. That's ok. No problem. Last night me and Monica ate at Naan and Curry on O'Farrell in SF. There's now 4 of them in the bay area. 2 in SF and 2 in the east bay. If you've never gone, you're missing out. The power point of naan and curry is the price. It's so cheap.

We had chaana masala, an eggplant dish which I can't remember the name, 2 naan, and a plate of rice. Total price $12. A $2 tip and I'm walking away with only $14 damage. Though my belly hurts a little bit today from the spiciness of the meal, it's well worth the discomfort. I'll work hard today and then relax with an evening bike ride and perhaps a movie. Enjoy your day everyone.

Peace, mike park

PS-I've been trying to come up with a contest for the punkvoter tour that I'm doing with Anti-Flag and this is what I've come up with. For each show I'm going to give away 2 tickets to one person. All I ask in return is that you buy my record. It's pretty selfish on my part, but this way I'll be able to save you money on tickets(you'll save around $25) and I'll get to share my music. Already have my record? Well, give it to somebody as a gift. Sound fair? I hope so. Here's a list of all the dates for the tour:
