Sun poisoning can make for a good time during the time of the fun, but the aftermath is not so fun. Make sense?

Fortunately I never have to worry about this as I am golden brown, but my friend Monica looks like a tomato in need of some tender care. A 4 hour bike ride without sunscreen is not such a smart idea.

Anyways, another blessed weekend of perfect weather. We rode 35 miles on Saturday from downtown San Jose to Los Gatos and back again. Raced around Friday evening going from dive bar to dive bar.

Saw a fight on the street outside of some dance club. I'm guessing it was a dance club because the bass was booming and the woop woop could be felt from far away distances.

Two guys, with pleated pants, tucked in shirts, nice combed hair and a good tans to boot were ready to square off. I rode my bike up close to get a good seat for the fight.

I'm not one to promote violence and always stray from it when it involves me directly, but this was like TV almost. It was right downtown on a busy street and there was already a big crowd gathering.

Anyways, the fight lasted only a few moments as police were there so quick. I was like "DAMN", where did they come from?

They said a lot of bad words back and forth. Using the word "fag" and "pussy" as an insult. Hmmmm... Pretty intelligent guys, perhaps I should invite them to the A's game next week.

We ate a lot of junk food. Riding bikes burns calories and our appetites never seemed to stop. From pizza, to ice cream, to french fries, to burritos, to tacos, bubble teas, to indian, to popcorn, to vietnamese cuisine....it was all consumed over this weekend. Now it's back to work. Luckily I love my job.

Peace, mike park

PS-I'll be posting the following for the next few weeks, so if you've read this before go to sleep.

This year, the day will be July 19th vs. the Toronto Blue Jays. We will begin the BBQ at 5:00 PM at the far north end of the Oakland Coliseum parking lot facing the freeway 880. There will be a big red van with a 10 x 10 white tent that says plea for peace on it.

I'm gonna rent a generator and have punk bands play until we get told to shut down.(hopefully that won't happen) There will tons of Asian Man swag being given away, so bring a bag with you. If you plan on coming, I need you to email me at mikeasianman@aol.com

This way I will know how many tickets to buy(It should cost around $5 as I think I can get a group discount) and to know how much food to buy for the BBQ. The big problem last year was that so many people didn't RSVP that I was struggling with lack of food.

ARGHHH!!! So, there's the info.. I'll send more info. as it comes in. And I'll list the bands playing as that info. comes in.
