8:41 AM(california)
4:41 PM(Wales, somewhere betweent Newport and Swansea)
I stayed up til 5 AM for no other reason than getting sucked into watching a show called BACKSTAGE PASSPORT. It's a documentary following the band NOFX around the globe playing obscure countries and getting into insane situations. Extremely entertaining and I couldn't stop watching until every episode was viewed. But now I'm drudging along on 3 hrs sleep on my last train to Swansea. It's been one of the more difficult travel days.
11:20 AM Depart from PLYMOUTH to BRISTOL TEMPLE MEADS
2:19 PM BRISTOL TEMPLE to BRISTOL PARKWAY
2:34 PM TRAIN BROKE DOWN and we had to take a bus to NEWPORT
3:40 PM MISSED OUR CONNECTING TRAIN to SWANSEA
4:32 PM We are back on track....

I'm in a glossed existance right now. Extremely tired, but unable to sleep. oh well, I'll have some tea when I get to the venue and I'll be fine.

The show last night was at a place called the WHITE RABBIT. Another flop for us. The negativity pouring from my soul is hard to deny. I so badly want to re-create the magic of the KINGSTON show, but there's no denying that the energy has been at a low. The only explanation is that we just don't have the name recognition to draw the type of crowd we would like. There is very little interaction between me and the audience. I am sold on just playing songs which isn't so bad. Battling crowd banter is tough. The only joy from this show was to see how soft I can sing and perhaps the crowd banter will overpower the music. Would that shut them up? Ugghhhh...
peace,
